We Need Hands on Deck! Help Us Put Up Greenhouse Plastic This Saturday

It's the biggest job of the entire farm season this Saturday, and we need you! It's finally (FINALLY!) time to put plastic on our two new grant-funded greenhouses. These beasts are each 30'x100', and the plastic is correspondingly huge. Coupled with the wind on our hillside, we need many volunteers to help hold it down as we stretch it out over the greenhouse frames and tie it down. We're asking for volunteers to arrive between 7-8am and to stay until 10-11am. What do you think? When you arrive, head to our fields where we'll be working. You may feel silly standing around on plastic, but this is one time that being a human paperweight is exactly what we need. We have so much gratitude for you, our farm community. Thank you in advance!
We have loads of other excellent news to share:
We have eggs for sale! $5/dozen for CSA members and $6/dozen for non-CSA members. Message me at 802-727-7187 and I'll put some in the mini fridge in our roadside farmstand for you.
We were chosen as one of this year's NOFA-VT Resilience Grant winners! We'll be receiving a grant in order to help upgrade our farmstand.
Christine was interviewed for a Salon.com article about the surge in new gardeners.
We have a few CSA shares for sale still, and we're almost to our goal of selling 100 shares this year. Spread the word!
We hope to see you bright and early Saturday morning!
All the best,
Christine and Seth
